Quality material and great look

I'm sleeping so much better!

We our manual daytime cellular shades with day/night automated shades from Graywind. We turned on the Alexa skill for them and really enjoy them. Figuring out the exact Alexa commands to transition between the day and night shades took some effort, but we've pretty much mastered it now. Sleeping with the nightshades closed has allowed me to sleep much later in the mornings. We have large windows in our bedroom and the east window woke us up every morning and the west windows woke us up when clear skies let the moon wake us. I highly recommend the automated features. We went with the battery power and it's great.

The good and the bad

The good; I ordered a very large light-blocking shade, the website made the order easy. I ordered the kind that plugs into AC, no batteries. Works great with Alexa, routines must be in percentage (100%) to work, it automatically goes down every evening at 11 pm. It was fairly easy to mount, just big. And it's beautiful, looks great, appears to be made well with high-quality materials.
The bad. I ordered the shade to be hung over my current cellular blinds, and gave the length I needed. When it arrived it was programmed as if it was designed to be mounted inside the window frame. It was several inches short. The length was there, just not programmed. The instructions I got via email said "go into setup mode and do this". There was NO information on what setup mode was, and sure enough, things went bad very quickly. Finally on YouTube I found instructions where they talk way to fast and make too many changes at one time. After watching it about 20 times and trying different things, finally figured out how to program the shade via the remote.
Bottom line; The shade is awesome, the price is awesome (1/4 of estimates I got in my home), but if you have programming issues, good luck!

Updated window coverings

Was looking for a more modern look for slider. Found with the five panel track blinds. Installed myself and I and old. So you can do it too. Will purchase again for slider in MBR, but blackout material. Just love them. And so easy to open (manual)
