The fabric samples for the panel track were very nice but hard to choose. Also, how do the panels open and close if no remote control is chosen?
It took a while to receive the product but when we did we were excited to put them in!
The blackout material quality is top notch and does exactly what is advertised.
I had 3 windows roughly 6 feet wide by 5 feet tall. So big windows! My wife and I were able to install all 3 blinds in under 20 minutes and there were no tools required; (besides a small step stool)
The motors are quiet and work very well as the go up and down. Like the favorite function to set the depth exactly where you want it to be.
We love it!
The only downside I would say is trying to program the controller. The instructions were hard to find online and programming the device is not easy. Once we got everything set up though it's smooth sailing from there!
I ordered trapezoid shaped blinds from gray wind. Ray worked with me and help me sure the measurements were correct for production. The blinds were excellent quality and came pre-programmed. The price and value of the blinds could not be beat. I got four blinds for what other companies will charge me for one shaped blind. Amazing, I will be buying from Gray Wind in the future
Nice material and perfect fit. You will need side panels if wanting to block sides, but we like a small amount of light around the edges as the shades themselves are very darkening. The motor mechanism and controls work well and the noise level is good. Not silent but not loud, so as expected for us and quieter than brands we bought from HD or Lowe’s. Overall, very happy with our new blinds.
So far we love these. Price was good and they work great. Had a minor shipping problem that was my fault, and they worked it out. Arrived fast for custom made blinds. Can not say enough good things about them.
