Great swatch selection

I was really impressed with how quickly the swatches arrived, the large selection, and the quality of them. These definitely helped with my decision. I had originally thought I’d get just a plain white fabric, but after going through the samples, I wound up selecting a textured white fabric.
A final thing - upon opening the envelope with the swatches, I was really impressed with the presentation. It wasn’t just swatches thrown together or held with some metal ring. The pouch, the quality of the swatches, the large swatch size which allowed me to really hold it against the wall and determine whether it would match - it all spoke volumes as to what I could expect quality-wise from Graywind.

Good and bad about this product

Good and bad about this product. The good is that it was a perfect custom fit and looks like it does in the pictures. I wish I hadn't gotten the light filtering version and gone with a less see-through version because.... you can see through it. What was VERY frustrating was the installation. The instructions make sense and are well written (for the average capable person). However, the brackets for the main rail did NOT snap in as advertised. Even when you watch videos online about how easy they are to snap in - NOT TRUE. I had to break out a clamp and use a separate piece of thin wood in order to apply pressure to just the right area in order to get the brackets to mount to the main rail. I'm pretty handy but I almost threw in the towel. I was quite frustrated and disappointed with that part of it.

The shades are nice but automation is challenging

The shades are nice. A little hard to snap them into the clips when you install them. It wasn't clear when I placed the order that I would need a Thread router for them to work with Alexa. Thread routers have a small range so getting all my shades to work in my house required me to buy additional matter smart switches to reach all if my shades even after buying a thread router.
